Digital Enterprise Program and St Edwards of the Riverina
Sophie and Josh Walsh, St Edwards of the Riverina.
A strong online presence is vital when you have a unique business and that's why Sophie Walsh took part in the Digital Enterprise Program.
What was once the local Anglican Church is now St Edwards of the Riverina, wedding and function venue, located just 15 minutes from the Wagga CBD.
St Edwards of the Riverina had a basic website and small Facebook following, which Sophie was looking forward to improving through the program.
"I really wanted to update my website to be a lot more user-friendly and professional and I also wanted to gain a more in depth understanding about Facebook marketing," she said.
"We have improved significantly in our Facebook marketing and have gained a large following, which has enabled us to cut back costs on less effective marketing.
The original church was built in 1922 and St Edwards of the Riverina showcases the two acres of manicured lawns and country gardens on the side of the Malabo ranges.
Sophie said she was keen to showcase the business's unique features.
"We have continued to make the suggested changes to our website, which has also made a positive impact on our online enquiries and the efficiency of our administration."
