Buying a home

In the March quarter of 2013, the median propery price of all dwellings sold in Wagga Wagga was $265,000. 

In contrast, during the same quarter (March 2013) in New South Wales the median propery price was $450,000, and in the Greater Sydney area the median price was recorded to be $532,000.

During the June quarter of 2013, the median price for renting a three bedroom dwelling in Wagga Wagga was $285 per week. Those renting a similar property in the Greater Sydney area can expect to pay over $400 per week, with the median price for a 3 bedroom, seperate house recorded at $460 per week. Across the state of NSW, the same 3 bedrrom seperate dwelling median price was $385 per week.
