The Wagga Wagga region offers a total workforce of 32,437 people (Dec 2012) and a broader population base of over 61,000. As the region's major centre, the City has a significant property, business and industry sector; a diverse range of community, cultural and administrative services; and an established retail centre for ‘big ticket' products and services.

This strong economic diversity is reflected in Wagga Wagga's relatively low unemployment rate, which is 4.4% - below the NSW State average of 5.6%.

Opportunities to provide vocational and educational training for your staff are also well catered for in Wagga Wagga.

The Wagga Campus of Charles Sturt University is the institution's biggest campus with some 12,000 enrolled students and over 800 full-time staff. Meanwhile, TAFE NSW Riverina Institute builds the skills, qualifications and employability of around 34,000 students each year.
