MEDIA RELEASE - WhichWayWagga Community Centre Sessions

What kind of Wagga Wagga do you want in 2030?

Wagga Wagga City Council will seek to find those answers at three Community Centre Sessions organised in February.

"Continuing on with the Vision2030 project which began with FuturesWeek last November, these sessions have been organised to hear from all members of community about their ideas, thoughts and opinions on what they want for Wagga Wagga in 2030," said Mayor Kerry Pascoe.

"We want all members of the community to come along to share their input for what they want for their City by answering three key questions: What do you see? What do you do? How do you feel?

"Council wants to capture a 'vision' of what the community wants for the future of the City.

"This 'vision' from the community will not only giude Council and allo us to plan for and execute the kinds of work and services the community have identified, but it will be available for the wider community and business to use as we all plan for the future," he explained.

This is the final chance for people to share their ideas before the overwhelming amount of responses are collated into a draftvision document and presented back to the community.

"This is an important opportunity for residents to contribute to creating the future of Wagga Wagga, " added Mayor Pascoe.
